Details
Local Governance Development Program project Concluded in Alsahfa Municipality in Ajloun Governorate through which there was the opening of development and service projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). H.E. The Minister of Municipal Affairs Mr. Ali AlGhazawi, who sponsored the conclusion of this event, the program in all of its components was consistent with the ministry's plans and programs aimed at expanding public participation and the institutional capacity building of municipalities to reflect positively on its financial situation and create employment opportunities for citizens and the reduction of poverty and unemployment. He noted that the ministry is working on transferring the experience of the program to other municipalities and the stages in the hope of an effective partnership with the U.S. Agency and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. It is noteworthy that the projects implemented by the U.S. agency in the municipality at a cost of Shifa «632,712» dollars, which included a municipal building and a cultural center and a multipurpose hall in addition to the draft opening and paving the streets of support from the World Bank and the French Agency for Development at a cost of 87500 dinars also received keys to the municipal mechanisms provided under the project, namely a Kabsp tank seepage and a bus to transport the dead.
